Helen Charman's poetry has been published in The White Review, para·text, Blackbox Manifold, Hotel and Datableed, and is forthcoming in New Poetries VII (Carcanet, 2018). Her critical writing can be found in King's Review, the Cambridge Humanities Review and introducing a new edition of Mary Butts' stories (Hurst Street Press, 2017). She is currently writing a PhD thesis on maternity, sacrifice and political economy in nineteenth-century fiction, and teaching undergraduates at the University of Cambridge and primary school children in Hackney.
